Ovation Praise Mission Statement:
We exist to
Minister unto God and his people through praise and worship music, evangelization, performing arts, charity, and honoring his faithful servants.
We are a 501 (c) (3) Nonprofit organization.
Currently, Ovation Praise Ministries has ONLY three board of directors members: Ms. Riddle, Dr. Olivia, and Dr Ivan.
Ms. Riddle Colleen Porter.
Ms. Riddle is the current Chairperson of the Ovation Praise Ministries Board of Directors. Mrs. Riddle has extensive musical experience and strong skills in leading and managing choirs for students and adults.
Ms. Riddle is the founder and current Executive Director of the North Houston Children’s Choir, as well as the University Supervisor for Student Teachers at the University of Houston.
Ms. Riddle is a retired Director of Music Education at Aldine ISD and a former teacher at Spring ISD.
Ms. Riddle holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the same institution.
Ms. Riddle is happily married to Mr. Thomas Wayne Riddle, and all their children are doing well in life.
Dr. Olivia K Kasirye.
Dr. Olivia is one of the Ovation Praise Ministries board of directors. Dr. Olivia is a devoted and prominent California physician who has been traveling the Christian path of salvation since her childhood days and was one of the singers in the distinguished group, Joint Heirs.
Dr. Olivia attended Makerere Medical School, where she earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) degree. She later received her master’s degree in Epidemiology from the UC Davis School of Medicine in the USA. She was one of the top medical doctors in California, working tirelessly to save lives during the global pandemic. Dr. Olivia is happily married to Mr. John William Kasirye, a successful retired statistician by profession, who is also entirely devoted to evangelism and foreign missions. The couple is also blessed with wonderful children who are all doing pretty well in life.
Dr. Ivan Kitaka
Dr. Ivan is one of the Ovation Praise Ministries board of directors. Dr. Ivan has a massive passion for missions and evangelism. Dr. Ivan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from TSU, Houston, Texas, and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from Makerere University, Uganda, Africa. Dr. Ivan is currently practicing as a pharmacist in Houston, Texas.
Music ministers John and Angie Sommer.
John is one of the leading keyboard players of Ovation Praise Ministries. John has extensive experience playing the keyboard and piano. He managed and toured with one of the prominent Christian music groups, including The Sound, across North America. John’s wife, Angie, is one of our Praise and worship leaders. John is a graduate of the University of Houston, where he specialized in computer Science.
Mr. Sommer is the vice president of Advance Publishing and also the owner of Dove Media in Houston, TX.
John and Angie have been and still are happily married, blessed with one daughter, Charity, and five sons: Zach, Nathan, Matthew, Kenan, and Levi.
Elder Greg Mitchell
Mr. Greg Mitchell is our stage lighting and video production specialist. He is also one of the panel members of the team that carries out the Orchestra auditions.
Mr. Greg Mitchell is happily married with successful grown-up children.
Psalmist Ruth Kironde.
Ruth is one of our praise and Worship leaders of Ovation Praise Ministries.
Ruth has traveled around the world to various countries, including the USA, Europe, and Asia, preaching and singing for the Lord. She is now one of our praise and Worship leaders at Ovation Praise Ministries. She is also the team leader of the Ovation Praise Ministries Music productions in Uganda.
Ruth is happily married to Pastor Francis Kironde, and they are blessed with two children: a lawyer by profession, and Dennis, a Civil Engineer.
Psalmist Michelle Williford
Michelle is the leader of the Ovation Praise Ministries creative dance team. Michelle is also the main character in our evangelistic musical, The Ultimate Incense, where she portrays Mary, who poured her costly perfume on Jesus Christ’s head. Michelle is a devoted Christian and true Worshiper. She is happily married to Curtis Willford, an IT specialist. Curtis and Michelle are blessed with five children who are all doing well in life and various Ministries.
Mr. Andy Grube
Andy is one of our drummers. Andy graduated from Texas Tech University with a 1st class bachelor’s degree in music. Andy is happily married to his one wife, and the same couple spearheads the Eagles Awards of Ovation Praise Ministries.
Samuel Bulamu AKA uncle Sam Kyobe gives all the glory to God for allowing him to serve Him and His people as the founder and team leader of Ovation Praise Ministries.
Samuel began serving God in the music ministry in 1975. He later received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1977 in a youth camp meeting at the age of thirteen in Uganda, Africa.
Samuel is an ordained music minister who has served God in various Christian organizations, including the African Children’s Choir, Youth with a Mission (YWAM), and Worship Tabernacle Church, where he has served as the music minister for over 20 years. Samuel graduated from the University of North Texas, USA, and is currently a certified high school teacher of Physics and Chemistry in the state of Texas. We thank God for giving Samuel the ability and patience to design and build this Website from scratch to where it is now. Samuel is happily married to Regina, and all their children are serving God in various music ministries. Samuel’s favorite quote is: “To God be all the glory!”
